Blake Campbell Glovitz arrest

Arrested: Blake Campbell Glovitz - Investigators Seeking Publics Help - Aggravated Luring of a Minor for Sexual Exploitation & Furnishing Harmful Items to a Minor via the Internet.

On December 31, 2009, an Internet crimes against children investigation began that led to the identification of 26 year old Blake Campbell Glovitz.  During the investigation Glovitz sent sexual images of himself to a person whom he believed was a minor in violation of Arizona law (13-3506.01.A. - class 4 felony).

As the two-month investigation progressed, Glovitz used a web camera attached to a computer to also commit aggravated luring of a minor for sexual exploitation in violation of 13-3560, a class 2 felony.

Glovitz's whereabouts and computer usage were traced to his east Phoenix residence.  Affidavits and search warrants for the location were prepared and subsequently served on February 4, 2010. Glovitz was arrested on probable cause for the crimes.  He did not make statements and was booked into the Maricopa County Jail and charged with one count of aggravated luring a minor for sexual exploitation and four counts of furnishing harmful items to minors.

Assisting in the investigation and warrant were detectives and special agents from Phoenix PD/AZ ICAC Task Force, and U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

The case will be submitted to the Maricopa County Attorney's Office for charging.
